报告题目：Advanced Control for Smart Material-Based Systems

内容简介：Smart material-based actuators play a key role in advanced technologies, such as biology, materials science, lithography, etc. However, the control for the smart material-based actuators is very complicated due to the existence of the hysteresis nonlinearity between the input and the output. When these actuators are applied to servo systems, the strong coupling between the hysteresis nonlinearity and the vibration dynamics of the systems will make the control problem of the servo system very challenging. In addition, both the hysteresis and the dynamics vary with the environmental and load conditions. This talk discusses the adaptive control for the smart material-based actuators and their applications.

报告人简历：陈新开现为芝浦工业大学教授。重点开展超精密驱动控制及超精密加工控制技术中的理论及应用研究工作，是智能材料驱动控制非线性策略研究领域的创立者之一。陈新开教授已在国际知名期刊和会议上发表论文200多篇，先后多次获得机电领域国际会议的最佳论文奖，日本工学教育协会最佳著作奖，并担任《IEEE Trans. on Automatic Control》编辑(Associate Editor)、《IEEE Trans. on Control Systems Technology》编辑(Associate Editor)、《IEEE Trans. on Industrial Electronics》编辑(Associate Editor)、《ASME/IEEE Trans. on Mechatronics》技术编辑(Technical Editor)等多个控制领域国际期刊的编委，多次担任控制领域的国际会议程序委员会主席等职务。
